Meyer Institute Terms and Conditions

Meyer Institute offers psychology consultations and appointments for assessments and psychological therapy. Please note that emergency services are not available. To secure an appointment, kindly agree to the terms and conditions, and make payment in advance. It is important to review the terms on our website before each booking, as they may be updated periodically. These terms take effect from your first booking onwards.

Appointments can be scheduled by individuals over 18 years of age or with parental/guardian consent. Fees must be settled according to the specified payment terms. Psychologists render their services in exchange for these fees, and any additional reports or letters may incur supplementary charges. Please be aware that assessments for legal purposes are not provided.

Appointments can be conducted either in person or via Telehealth, with specific guidelines outlined for Telehealth sessions. Punctuality is paramount, as latecomers risk a reduction in session time. Excessive lateness or no-shows without notice may result in appointment cancellation. The clinic will communicate any delays promptly.

Certain important points to note include:

Parents are required to supervise children during appointments.

Notify us if your child's symptoms worsen or do not improve as expected.

Mature minors may consent to treatment independently if deemed capable.

Treatment plans may span multiple appointments, necessitating consistent attendance for progress.

Recording appointments without the psychologist's explicit consent is prohibited.

For Telehealth appointments, ensure the necessary technology is set up and maintain a quiet, reliable internet connection. Please be aware that internet stability may impact the quality of care, with security not guaranteed.

Payment Terms

Payment terms stipulate that all fees, disbursements, and other applicable amounts must be settled in advance or at the time of the appointment. Credit card details are securely stored within our patient management systems, with no liability for third-party system security. Penalties may be imposed for non-compliance with payment terms. Please reach out regarding any payment concerns.
