TAC Psychology Support After a Transport Accident in Victoria

Meyer Institute provides psychology support for people experiencing psychological difficulties after a Victorian road or transport accident.

We assist with concerns such as road trauma, driving anxiety, stress, low mood, adjustment to injury, and the emotional impact of recovery after an accident.

Sessions are available by telehealth across Victoria.

TAC may fund psychology services for eligible clients where the psychological difficulty is related to a transport accident injury. A medical practitioner referral may be required, and TAC determines funding eligibility and approval.

Meyer Institute is an independent psychology practice and is not part of the TAC. We can help you understand the intake process and what information may be needed before commencing treatment.

This service may be suitable if you:

  • Have a TAC claim or are in the process of clarifying TAC eligibility

  • Are experiencing stress, anxiety, low mood, trauma symptoms, adjustment difficulties, or driving anxiety after the accident
